Quer EMBARCAR durante uma noite numa traineira como a ARRIFANA e assistir ao vivo a uma pescaria de sardinhas? Será uma oportunidade exclusiva e irrepetível para ter uma EXPERIÊNCIA FOTOGRÁFICA surpreendente e imprevisível!
Os ENFOLA (Encontros de Fotografia de Lagoa) desafiaram a traineira ARRIFANA e a WILDWATCH Algarve para unirem esforços e tornar possível esta experiência fotográfica em torno da pesca da sardinha na costa algarvia.
Os fotógrafos amadores e profissionais são os grandes beneficiários desta ideia. Podem agora fotografar um evento que é quase inacessível à generalidade das pessoas.
O envolvimento da traineira e de toda a sua tripulação na THE SARDINE PHOTO EXPERIENCE é inédito e inovador, até porque a iniciativa não tem antecedentes em Portugal. Cada participante embarcará numa traineira que está totalmente dedicada à pesca e que, a título excepcional, aceita receber um fotógrafo a bordo.
O fotógrafo será como um membro da tripulação a quem foi destinada uma tarefa muito especial: 'PESCAR' IMAGENS da faina da sardinha ao largo da costa algarvia. Mas, na verdade, a experiência fotográfica não se limita à faina marítima. Abarca a paisagem, as aves, quem sabe os golfinhos e, claro está, toda a azáfama da tripulação da traineira, do porto, da lota...
CALENDÁRIO
É possível integrar a experiência fotográfica entre 1 de Julho e 30 de Setembro de 2018.
LOCAL E HORÁRIO DE EMBARQUE
Porto de Pesca de Portimão (37°08'01.40"N 8°31'32.80"W).
Excepcionalmente poderá ser em outro porto de pesca algarvio, como o de Sagres.
O horário de embarque é determinado, para cada noite, pelo Mestre da ARRIFANA. No momento da inscrição o participante será informado de todos os detalhes relativos ao local e horário de embarque.
O horário de desembarque depende de como decorrer a faina nessa noite.
INSCRIÇÃO
Tem de ser efectuada na Wildwatch Algarve*, presencialmente ou online, com, no mínimo, 24 horas de antecedência.
É necessário documento oficial de identificação (Cartão de Cidadão ou Passaporte) para efeitos de registo do participante na Capitania do Porto de Portimão e para efeitos de seguro de acidentes pessoais.

NÚMERO DE PARTICIPANTES
Haverá apenas um fotógrafo a bordo. Só em situações excepcionais poderão embarcar dois fotógrafos.
Sendo o único fotógrafo a bordo, o participante terá uma experiência verdadeiramente única e intensa. Adicionalmente, é necessário não esquecer que o espaço disponível a bordo da traineira é limitado.

Trezentos Euros | € 300,00
FUNCIONAMENTO
Antes do embarque haverá um 'briefing' onde serão explicados todos os pormenores relativos à segurança e comportamento do participante. A bordo estará um elemento da tripulação que assegurará que tudo ocorre da melhor forma possível. O participante deverá levar roupa quente e farnel (não são permitidas bebidas alcoólicas a bordo). Se for propenso a enjoar deve tomar um medicamento adequado. Caso o porto de desembarque seja distinto do de embarque será garantido o transporte do participante para o local de início da experiência fotográfica.
FOTOGRAFIA
O participante receberá um exemplar do livro FAINA MARÍTIMA editado pelos Encontros de Fotografia de Lagoa.
O participante está convidado a partilhar as suas fotografias nas redes sociais com as hashtags #tspe e #thesardinephotoexperience.
Se desejar, poderá também enviar uma fotografia para os ENFOLA, para ser integrada na próxima edição do livro FAINA MARÍTIMA.

THE SARDINE PHOTO EXPERIENCE
PRESENTATION
Do you want to EMBARK in the night on a trawler like the ARRIFANA and witness to a live sardine fishery? This will be a unique and unrepeatable opportunity to have a surprising and unpredictable PHOTOGRAPHIC EXPERIENCE!
The ENFOLA (Lagoa Photographic Encounters) have challenged the trawler ARRIFANA and the WILDWATCH Algarve to unite and make possible this photographic experience around the sardine fishery on the coast of Algarve, Portugal.
The amateur and professional photographers are the great beneficiaries. From now they can photograph an event that is nearly inaccessible to the largest majority of people.
The involvement of the trawler and all its crew in THE SARDINE PHOTO EXPERIENCE is unprecedented and innovative, as the initiative has no antecedents in Portugal. Each participant will embark in a trawler that is entirely dedicated to the fishery, and that will exceptionally accept a singular photographer on board at a given time.
The photographer will become a member of the crew to whom was given a very special task: 'TO FISH' IMAGES of the sardine labour along the coast of Algarve, Portugal. Nevertheless, this photographic experience is not limited to the maritime work. It englobes the landscape, birds, and who knows even dolphins, as well as, of course, all the bustle of the trawler's and the harbour's crew...
CALENDAR
It will be possible to take part in the photographic experience between July 1st and September 30th 2018.
BOARDING PLACE AND TIME
Portimão's Fishing Harbour (37°08'01.40"N 8°31'32.80"W).
Exceptionally, this could be another fishing harbour in the Algarve, such as the one of Sagres.
Boarding time will be determined every evening by the master of the ARRIFANA. During sign up the participant will be informed of all the details regarding boarding time and location.
The time of return will depend on how the fishery goes during the given night.
REGISTRATION
To be carried out with Wildwatch Algarve*, in person or online, with a minimum of 24 h preceding the departure.
An official Identification Document (Passport or Citizen Card) will be required for the participant's registration at the Capitania do Porto de Portimão and for the purpose of a personal accident insurance.

NÚMERO DE PARTICIPANTES
There will only be a single photographer on board. Only in exceptional situations two photographers will be allowed on board.
Being the only photographer on board, the participant will have a truly unique and intense experience. Additionally, it is necessary to remember the limited space that is available on the trawler.
COSTS
Three Hundred Euros | € 300,00
LOGISTICS
Before boarding there will be a 'briefing' to lay out all the details regarding safety and behaviour of the participant. A member of the crew on board will be in charge of ensuring that the night runs as smoothly as possible. The participant should wear warm clothes and bring enough food (no alcoholic beverages are allowed onboard). If the participant suffers from seasickness appropriate medication should also be taken prior do departure. In case the arrival harbour is another than that of embark transportation will be arranged to bring the participant to the location of the start of the photographic experience.
PHOTOGRAPHY
The participant will receive a copy of the book FAINA MARÍTIMA edited by the Lagoa Photographic Encounters.
The participant is invited to share their photographs on social media with the hastags #tspe e #thesardinephotoexperience. If the participant so wishes, he or she can send a photograph to the ENFOLA, to be included in the next edition of the book FAINA MARÍTIMA.
